Welcome to Comfort & Cozy Learning Center, a small, nurturing early learning center in Port Angeles, Washington. We care for children ages 1–4 in a warm, comfortable environment where children are encouraged to learn, explore, play, and grow at their own pace.
We offer Toddler, Pre-3, and Pre-K classes, with classrooms and activities designed around the needs of each age group. Our days include plenty of hands-on learning, creative activities, books, music, outdoor play, and time to simply be a kid.
We believe young children learn best when they feel safe, comfortable, and connected to the adults caring for them. Our teachers take the time to get to know each child, their personality, interests, strengths, and individual needs.
Our Programs
Toddler
Our toddler program provides a safe and nurturing place for young children to begin developing independence, communication, social skills, and confidence while learning through play and everyday experiences.
Pre-3
The Pre-3 classroom builds on those early skills with more opportunities for conversation, creativity, hands-on activities, group experiences, and growing independence.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K program helps children prepare for their next step while still allowing them plenty of time for play and exploration. Children work on early literacy, numbers, problem-solving, social skills, independence, and the confidence they need as they get ready for kindergarten.
A Smaller, More Personal Setting
We keep our groups small so our teachers can really know the children in their care. We pay attention to the little things — what a child enjoys, what makes them comfortable, what they are working on, and where they may need a little extra support.
We want families to feel like they know the people caring for their children and that their children are genuinely known here.
Our Day
Every day looks a little different, but children can expect a mix of learning, play, creative activities, stories, music, outdoor time, meals and snacks, and plenty of opportunities to interact with their friends and teachers.
We celebrate children’s interests and encourage them to ask questions, try new things, make choices, and become more independent as they grow.

Comfort & Cozy Learning Center is locally owned and operated and is proud to have served families in the Port Angeles community for over 25 years.
We offer full- and part-time enrollment options and accept private pay, DCYF child care assistance, military, tribal, and other approved child care benefits.
